2008/2009 Swap Meet Information

Much of the New England Antique Radio Club activity focuses around the club swap meets. These events provide club members with an opportunity to gather together to buy, sell and trade radios, TVs, parts, tubes, books, magazines and, most importantly, the chance to meet and exchange ideas with other radio collectors. The public is always invited to attend and enjoy a day of radio fun and nostalgia.

    2008/2009 Swap Meet Contest Categories

October 18,2008 - Manchester Bingo Center, Manchester, NH
        Contest Categories:
        • HEATHKITS -- We've all owned one or many, and a lot of us got our start in radio with one of Heath's kits. What do you have in your collection that brings back memories or stirs pride?
        • Clock Radios -- Anything that tells time while receiving the latest news and music. They've been making these things since the early '30s, so trot out one of the old timers, or one of the most recent, so we can enjoy the journey.
        • Telephones -- All things telephonic: Alexander G. Bell's autograph; a 'candlestick' phone; switching equipment; any/all colors of Princess phones. Maybe you've even got an early cell phone to dazzle us with. Whatever, bring it in and show it off!
